CHINT, the third leading international manufacturer of low voltage electrical equipment, and one of the leaders in medium and high voltage, is looking for a Renewables Technical Leader in Madrid.

Job description

  • Designing of PV distribution panelboards and preparation of the corresponding technical quotations for the Field Sales Force, based on the analysis of project data and wiring schemes provided by customers.
  • Development, elaboration and correction of technical documentation.
  • Preparation of technical reports.
  • Planning and preparing technical training sessions for the Field Sales Team and customers.
  • Support to customers with technical problems or any doubts about our products.
  • Support to the Product Manager and Marketing department by providing them with technical insights and sales arguments.
  • Support to the Sales Department regarding technical inquiries and product selection.
  • Functional tests of PV components and engineering of basic automation solutions, as well as the configuration and operation of certain devices like control relays.
  • Communication with our factory with respect to certifications, technical information, problem solutions, etc.
  • Examination and failure diagnosis of products that were returned by customers.
  • Cooperation with the factory concerning solution management and corrective plans in case of manufacturing problems.
  • Testing of a new cloud software system being developed in order to increase productivity of technical quotations and panelboard designing.

Minimum requirements/Candidate profile

  • Disponibilidad para viajar nacional (Visitas a almacén, clientes, ferias…).
  • Viajes esporádicos internacionales (Fábrica, etc).
  • Formación necesaria: Ingeniería Industrial (Técnica o Superior), grado en Ingeniería + máster en Ingeniería Industrial, especialización en Energías Renovables y experiencia en el diseño y dimensionamiento de proyectos fotovoltaicos.
  • Formación complementaria: programas de diseño de sistemas eléctricos y formación específica en energía solar fotovoltaica.
  • Idiomas: español e inglés B2.
